Let's start with experience. We have over 8 years experience in the property management business. We live AND work on the Monterey Peninsula which gives us unparalleled knowledge about each unique area. We have our Property Management Masters Certification with the California Association of Realtors.
Property management is a service business and we are constantly searching for ways to exceed your expectations. This is what sets us a part. There is no black and white model - each property and property owner bring their own unique sets of needs. We want to create a unique experience for everyone. We have even attained our Certificate of Excellence from the California Association of Realtors!
Property management should be affordable. We do what we can to keep our overhead to a minimum to keep our fees as fair as possible. We just charge our monthly management fee - we don't up-charge on maintenance calls, for periods of vacancies or for renewals. It's all included!
Transplanted from a small mountain town in Northern California, Ashley moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 2007. She instantly fell in love with coastal living, fun-loving people, and mild temperatures.
A strong grasp of the real estate market from years of managing properties and buying/selling homes, Ashley recognizes that no single approach is always best, as every client and property is unique. Her dedication and commitment to her clients best interest is what makes her a natural fit for real estate, helping people make smart decisions towards financial freedom.
Ashley also draws on a background in banking, title and escrow, vacation rentals, sales and customer service. In 2008, she obtained her Real Estate Sales License and in 2015 achieved her Broker License. Ashley is passionate about real estates sales, property management and consulting. She also thrives through working with people, finding amazing homes, and helping to support clients achieve their dreams. She continues to expand her profile and knowledge base, recently acquiring her Florida Broker License and founding Wayland Properties, LLC.
In her (limited) free time Ashley is a motivated youth advocate mentoring and volunteering with young people. On the weekends she can be found hiking, reading, re-purposing furniture, at a concert, or just drinking wine with good friends.
Angie is the newest member to Wayland Properties as the Director of Operations. Angie moved to Monterey during High School, where she was first exposed to the Real Estate profession from her father. Angie began her professional career in the hospitality industry. She started at the front desk at Portola Plaza and worked her way up to Event Planning at the Hyatt Regency Monterey.
In 2020, Angie joined the Wayland Properties team. She is involved with the everyday operations of Wayland Properties, advertising available properties, completing leases, filling vacancies, enforcing leases, scheduling vendors for maintenance and continuing to build great relationships with our tenants and homeowners.
In Angie’s free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, hiking or hanging out at the pool with her boys. During the pandemic, Angie found a green thumb she didn’t know she had! You can also catch Angie with a nice glass of wine whilst spending quality time with her family and friends.
I am a 29 year real estate veteran and a Monterey Bay area native with deep roots and life long connections. I obtained my real estate license in 1994 and have held many sales positions over the years. Most recently, as Vice President and Managing Officer for Intero at their Carmel and Pacific Grove locations. Prior to that I was a Sales Manager and trainer for a new home builder in Marina, Ca., selling over 400 homes over a span of 5 years. But as I have done throughout my career, I took on more responsibilities. In addition to management and sales duties, I provided support, mentorship and training for sales teams. Prior to New homes sales, I held a sales associate position with The Ryness Group, one of the largest new home marketing organizations in the nation. Consistently selling homes in Gilroy and the greater Bay Area. During my successful career, I centered on team building, training, company growth, restructuring and providing the best mentorship possible. A few of the helpful activities that have supported these efforts included taking on the role of Co-Chair of Programs and Education for the Women’s Council of Realtor’s Santa Cruz in 2009. At that time I also certified as an Emergency Medical Technician in 1999 for both Monterey and Santa Clara Counties. I was a guest speaker to hundreds of local agents and brokers throughout the region. In support of my standing in the real estate community, I am a current member of the California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and Monterey County Association of Realtors. I currently hold the position of Chief Operating Officer for Wayland Properties, Inc. and continue to train, grow, mentor, provide operational support and guidance as well as represent sellers and buyers in Monterey County. Our office also manages over 100 rentals in and around Monterey County and Plumas Counties.

Candace is Finance Manager for Wayland Properties. A 2007 graduate of Concordia University, she holds a BA degree in Christian Education Leadership. Her previous experience as an office manager and human resources facilitator have contributed to her success as a valuable member of the Wayland team.
Candace is passionate about empowering and supporting the Wayland team in the development of resources, tools, and skills that keep them at the top of the real estate field. She is detail oriented and well-versed at developing systems to track successes and implement strategies that facilitate progress at Wayland Properties.
Candace appreciates the company’s focus on integrity, professionalism, and forward-thinking endeavors that propel development, growth, and prosperity.
Hannah represents Wayland Properties as Property Concierge in Mammoth lakes, CA. She was born and raised in the small town of Quincy, CA.
Hannah draws upon her decade long, client focused career in banking and hospitality, in which she has created and maintained long-lasting relationships, delivered extraordinary service, and remained committed to client satisfaction. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are contagious!
A devoted mother of three, Hannah enjoys playing and hiking around her Mammoth Lakes favorite, Convict Lake with her family, as well as attending concerts and festivals with friends.
Jay is the Social Media & Marketing Manager for Wayland Properties. She manages the planning for execution of marketing strategies, graphic designs, social media management, content marketing, and branding. She is a long time entrepreneur with over 6 years experience in social media management and marketing not only for her own business, but for many other corporations as well. Jay possesses an expertise in marketing analytics, and excellent communication skills for outreach, ensuring strong brand presence.
Before the global pandemic, Jay was a Spa Owner and Esthetician in a mountain town of Northern CA. Knowing that her industry would be volatile the next few years, she intuitively knew she needed to make a quick pivot. Expanding upon knowledge gained from running her own business, she opened a Digital Marketing business and now runs multiple accounts.
Jay participates in many activities including hiking, traveling, and just being with her family and friends. She is honored to be a part of Wayland Properties and is excited for the growth and prosperity she knows will happen in the future.
Katharine (KT) was born & raised in Quincy, CA. The Clift family has been a trusted Quincy staple for over 75 years. After graduating high school, KT sought a higher education at Shasta College studying business and real estate. During this time she gained experience with an internship with a local real estate office and attained her real estate license in 2007. In 2009, she moved to the Bay Area and put her extensive real estate experience to work in hotel and property management.
In 2019 KT moved back to Quincy after having her first child. Being raised in a small town, she wanted to raise her children up with the same strong values close to family. She saw a need within the community for a local, authentic, client-first minded Realtor. She seized the opportunity and started her own real estate business. Helping people find their dream home is something KT is especially passionate about. Because of her determination, trustworthiness and ability to sell her business is rapidly growing. In 2021, KT sold over, $ 4.3 million in real estate! In 2022, KT decided to join the Wayland Properties team and open up their Summit's Division in Quincy, CA. She will be serving Northern California with both sales and property management.
She has been with her husband Brandon for 9 years and together they share 3 beautiful children. In her (rare) spare time she enjoys a spa day.
Melissa joined our team in 2023 as an intern through Monterey Peninsula College. She is working on attaining her Associates Degree in Business and is President of the Studen Counsel. Melissa is native to the Monterey Peninsula and graduated in 2022 from Monterey High School.
She has a passion for real estate and is working on attening her California Real Estate License. We quickly realized what an asset she was to our team and hired her on as our Assistant Property Manager. Melissa is bilingual, detail oriented and all around brilliant!

Hi, my name is Maddison but my mom calls me Maddie or sometimes Moo. I'm a young English Springer Spaniel. I am still a little nervous around people so I grumble a little when I meet new humans and even though my mom gets mad, I like to jump on people and give them kisses. My belly has magical powers to make everything better so I roll over alot and want belly rubs. You're welcome. One of my favorite things is going to the Carmel office to work with my mom, run on the beach and chase birds. I've been making a lot of new friends around town. When I'm not working at the office, I am down at the beach chasing waves, birds and squirrels. But I really just want to be anywhere my mom is. She's my favorite person.
